Q i put the CD in my player and it doesn't start?

A Make sure your CD Properties are set for autostart. If you have QuickTime up grade to version 7.03. Version 7.02 is not compatible with the Demoshield engine we use. You may open the CD in Windows Explorer and double click on the icon entitled Launch.

How do I install?

You can copy the file ctool.doc and all the .pdf files into your working folder and run them from there.

On completing the Wizard there is an error message on my screen.

This is a known issue we are working on. The Wizard saves data at the end of each screen. That means that all of the data you entered is in the document and you can proceed.

What are the minimum system requirements?

Pentium Class Computer running Windows 97 or later. In order to fully use the Crisis Tool it is necessary to be able to load the .doc files into Word 97 or later. We also include on the CD openoffice.com. This is a free Office suite that can read .doc files.

I don't use Word 97 or later, How can I use the CrisisTool?

You may use the .rtf files we have provided. They will work on any word processor that supports Rich Text Format.

I have opened the file in Word and the Wizard does not start. Why?

If you open the Word document and the Wizard does not open, it is probably because you have Word set for high security. To reset this in Word open the tools menu, press Macros and select security. If you change it to medium security the macro will work for you. If your policy is for high security you should reset it after you are done. We have scanned this document with McAfee Virus Scan for your security.

In Version 2 or later, the Table of Forms is no longer synchronized with the document.
How do I get it organized?

The Table of Forms is created using Word's Index & Tables feature found in the INSERT menu. If you change the layout of the document you will have to reconstruct the table using this facility.
